2021.11.30 17:53 Ok-Coast-9064 Screen/Monitor issues
I just bought a new monitor. I use my new one for sim racing, and the other one for work etc. I have the new monitor setup as my main monitor, but when i open iRacing, it opens on my other monitor. This means that i have to disconect the other monitor, leaving iRacing on my new monitor, bit the top and bottom of the screen is not the game but the home screen. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I went through 1/4 of an (apparently) full discrete mathematics course and figured out that it was easy and not worth the time. I skipped it. I’m now at a data structures course, not an hour in and I’m facing major issues, I can’t understand a thing! Any tips?

👉 What is Asgrad token exactly?
Asgard is a decentralized protocol based on the $Asgard Token – Collateralized and backed by the ASGARD DAO. $Asgard will be the reserve currency on Binance smart chain. By using Algorithmic control of the market dynamics ASGARD stable currency aims to curb inflation and give users the same purchasing power. We bring protocol owned liquidity to a DAO near you.
A new, category-defining asset class allowing smart investors to build their wealth by hedging. It is a decentralised treasury-backed currency on BSC that maintains a value of at least 1$ USD. However, Asgard is not pegged to anything and therefore can have a value worth more than 1$ USD providing its holders with a potential for great upside.
👉 Why does Asgard exist?
The world of cryptocurrencies is filled with speculation, market volatility and unpredictability. Investors are therefore exposed to extremes of scepticism (weak hands) and overestimation (diamond hands). Asgard is a new asset class that introduces the middle ground by allowing smart hands to hedge.
By having its own monetary policy and a cohort of new projects stabilising the currency, it solves many of the problems inherent to fiat currencies that are flawed by their lack of underlying value, centralisation & association with the interests of governments.
👉 How does Asgard work?
It is a currency backed by multi-asset stable coins. It is a currency of which the treasury and reserve are protocol controlled. It is a currency driven by a community-governed protocol.
👉 What can you do with Asgard?
The early phase of the project puts its early adopters in a unique position, where they can capitalise on their contribution to incentivising the currency. You can participate by staking or bonding Asgard.

2021.11.30 17:53 66Xeno [Progress] Five games beaten this month and an extra one beaten last month
It's so crazy to me that it's almost the end of 2021 already. Anyway, this month, I was able to beat five games and I was also able to finish Astro's Playroom at the end of October after I had already written my progress report here. So, I figured I'd just add it onto her. So, without further ado, let's begin.
Astro's Playroom (PS5)
I did not expect to beat any games while I was down visiting my sister since I was only down there for a weekend. But she wanted me to try out the PS5 and Astro's Playroom in particular. And as someone who grew up playing on the Playstation 1 & 2, I can't even begin to tell you how much nostalgia this game gave me. Not only that, but it is a legitimately fun game by itself with some fun platforming and a ton of collectables. I had a blast playing it (except for that damn frog). I even went back and collected all of the artifacts & puzzle pieces in the levels. Unfortunately, I couldn't 100% it since it wanted me to do all of the speedrun levels, and I didn't want to take up more time with it instead of spending time with my sister.
My Name is Mayo 2 (PS4) [100%]
One of the many pros of going down to visit my sister and sister-in-law is that they let me buy their used PS4, so I now have a way to play a ton of awesome Playstation games that I've never gotten to play before since I never had a PS3 or PS4. Of course, the first game that I beat on my new system is the sequel to My Name is Mayo. I completed the first game on Steam a while ago, much to my wrist's chagrin. But I had a ton of fun with this one as it adds a ton of variety, and it had a couple of times where I was laughing to the point of crying. I'm definitely glad that this was the first PS4 game that I've gotten a platinum trophy.
Yoshi's Story (Switch/N64)
I wasn't planning on playing this game, but since I got the expansion pack subscription for the Switch, this was one of the few N64 games that interested me. And man, I don't think I've ever played a game that was so easy. I know it was created specifically for kids, but I think I would lose interest in it when I was a kid. It was still a decent game to mess around on portable mode while watching streams. But I am not interested in going back to this and especially don't want to try an all-melon run.
Please Don't Touch Anything 3D (Steam)
I wasn't sure about this since I wasn't a fan of the original game, but I figured I'd get it since it was on sale, and if I didn't like it, I could refund it. But to my surprise, I had a ton of fun with it. It was a lot of fun to thoroughly look around the room to find clues for what you had to do to get the next ending. There were even a couple of moments that caught me off-guard that I was not expecting. Granted, I still had to use a walkthrough for a few of the puzzles to finish the game, but I still had a great time. Even though it feels like it would be a game better played in VR.
Pokemon Shining Pearl (Switch)
I might make some people upset with this, but I was not too fond of Shining Pearl. Don't get me wrong, it's a fine enough Pokemon game, but halfway through the game, I was getting tired of fighting trainers repeatedly who just kept having the same types of Pokemon as each other. Plus, I don't think they adjusted the difficulty level with the addition of the EXP Share because I was pretty much one-shotting most Pokemon, which only added to the boredom. It wasn't until I got to the Elite Four and Cynthia that the game took off the kid gloves and brought out the boxing gloves. I had to spend quite a few hours grinding and evolving just barely to defeat Cynthia. Not only that, but like the original Diamond/Pearl, the Team Galactic plot goes nowhere and doesn't add in all of the cool stuff from Platinum. This is probably the most 'meh' Pokemon game I've ever played.
Bloodwash (Steam) [100%]
Like Don't Touch Anything 3D, I wasn't sure about this since I usually don't enjoy the PS1-style horror games that have come out recently, but it was on sale, so I figured why not. And to my surprise, it was really well-done with many moments that kept me on the edge of what was going to happen next. Plus, even with one out-of-place ad for Skifreak, it mastered the atmosphere. And if the game doesn't interest you, there are some original comic books you can pick up and full-on read, and most of them were interesting reads (I would totally read more Sin Eater). It is a short game, I think it only took me two hours to 100% it, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a short & fun horror experience.
And there we go, all the games beaten this month. I was hoping to have PaRappa the Rapper 2 and Halo: Combat Evolved finished, but they both ended up being a bit longer than I expected. Hopefully, by the end of Decemeber, I'll finish Kingdom Hearts III and Psychonauts, and possibly the first Uncharted game. Then we also got the Year in Review post, so that should be fun.
Anyway, thank you very much for reading and I wish you all the best of luck in your gaming endeavours.

I was just listening to that song over and over again last night. And thinking about all the high school shootings in this country.
Disclaimer: this post is not to karma farm (i.e. the "blacklist"). I just thought that it was somewhat coincidental listening to that song a lot with what happened the next day.

2021.11.30 17:53 dogitalfurensics Unable to create raw image of drive using Paladin
I am trying to create a raw image (dd) of a drive that have using Paladin. The drive I am trying to create the image of is 256 GB and the destination drive is a 1 TB. The only option I am seeing is for me to clone the drive.
Since the device I am trying to do an image from is a Surface, I do have the Surface booting from a flash drive with Paladin and have modified the boot settings, if this information helps in any way. I am struggling to figure out why I am only given the option to clone. Do I need to have drives of the exact same size? I wouldn't imagine I would from everything I have been reading.
